Trump Exposes Major Security Problem In Canada
Reports say up to 700 Iranian nationals linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reside in Canada
The United States and Israel have launched strikes against Iran, reportedly killing Iran’s supreme leader.
Canada was not involved in the operation. But Canadians are not out of the woods.
There are reports that up to 700 Iranian regime officials may be living in Canada, including individuals linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a designated terrorist organization. In the days following the strikes, incidents of violence and intimidation have already been reported in Canada, adding to years of pro-Iran threats and security concerns affecting both Canada and the United States.
So what does this mean for Canadians?
In this episode, I sit down with historian and policy adviser Michael Bonner, who has served five ministers across seven portfolios at both the federal and provincial levels and has written for several of Canada’s leading publications.
We discuss the possibility of an “enemy within” and the risk posed to Canadians.
